Welcome to my website! A space where teaching, traveling, and supporting individuals with diverse abilities comes together all in one. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching as a special educator. I have taught individuals from pre-k through 8th grade in the greater Chicago area. I specialize in working with individuals with more significant support needs. My wife, Laura, and I LOVE traveling and are constantly trying to intersect our passions for education and traveling. Currently, I am preparing to teach in India this summer through a grant from the Department of State called Teachers for Global Classrooms where I have focused my learning on developing global education for individuals with significant disabilities. The population I teach, world wide, is not receiving the research, access, or opportunities of a global education curriculum as many do not feel it applies to them or simply do not know how to adapt it for them. Hopefully, you will find materials, resources, stories, and pictures on this site that will help you join in my classrooms adventure in exploring a global education as well as ideas for how to bring it to your classroom! Please feel free to explore this site to learn more about global education, my education travels, and the work in my community to support individuals with diverse needs.
Enjoy!
